I really love the comparison between the men's entertainment (ahem) magazines and the scenes in this film. Also glad you mentioned the 70-minute barrier, as I find a lot of people don't realize that. When they ask why Ed Wood included every single frame he shot (often twice, three times, maybe more) it's obvious they didn't realize the film had to be X minutes per contract and, with small budgets, every frame counted.Staciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05250238254417726987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1019017536875409609.post-16168483585148150612011-08-01T23:27:26.237-05:002011-08-01T23:27:26.237-05:00I never heard of this before but thanks for the fu...I never heard of this before but thanks for the fun, informative review!RVChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10475379868308526845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1019017536875409609.post-52959065739734440852011-08-01T21:44:26.796-05:002011-08-01T21:44:26.796-05:00Thanks guys. What a wild-sounding film. Great, funny post, and loved the references to other movie influences and especially to those men's magazines (were those meant for adults??).
