I like the Dave Stevens "Rocketeer" tribute at the same time - I used to see him every year at the Comic-Con at his booth; he was a big reason Bettie had more exposure, (if such a thing was possible) and he was a close friend of hers - now they're both gone, sadly.
Yeah, I was majorly bummed when I heard Stevens had passed a few years ago.
I always liked that piece of art -- and I think it really celebrates that kinkier side of Bettie and illustrates the point that there's a HUGE difference between something that's dirty and something that's naughty, and it just seemed fitting.
