Just a quick notice that I'm pulling up stakes for a week and heading south, southeast with my fellow Sons of Tupelo for a four day weekend in Memphis, Graceland, Beale Street and the Flying Saucer Bar that promises a beer that tastes like bourbon. You only turn 40 once, right? Anyways ... Start saving the bail money now, folks, and I'll return sometime next week.

But wouldn't be more fun if Elvis and Godzilla teamed up and fought crime? A much cooler version of Rush Hour, if you will. Also of note, I'm conspiring with several friends to have a screening of Bubba Ho-Tep at our local theater for my 40th in December.
The King of all Monsters and The King of Rock and Roll, now, go forth and make said film.
What a great 40th that will be if you are able to get them to show Bubba Ho-Tep!
