Greetings, Atomic Cheeseketeers! Seems the latest episode of The Atomic Weight of Cheese is a go. And this round, Mike, Steph and Yours Truly focus our mirth and mayhem on a whole can of mirth and mayhem: B-Fest, A&O Films annual 24 hour B-Movie marathon. From being locked in a theater for 24 hours to a dangerous lack of sleep to flying projectiles to jokes that can only be called legendary to jokes that make you want to punch someone in the neck to the fondest memories of friends to the answer 'what’s the worst movie you’ve ever seen,' we go through 15 years of B-Fests past and, who knows, might help inspire you to attend yourself someday. Believe me, it's one helluva trip.

Hats off to A&O Films for that outstanding line-up for B-Fest 2014. With that, I'm off to Chicago in couple days to do battle with the very same. Updates will resume around the first of February. Until then, Boils and Ghouls, I'll see ya in the aisles.

Alas, B-Fest 2012 has come and gone and entered the history books. For those who don't know, B-Fest is an annual event held at Northwestern University, where 200 or so like-minded individuals on Fractured Flickers ensconce themselves in a theater for 24-straight hours of mind-melting and butt-destroying Cinematic Cheese in what boils down to nothing short of B-Movie Thunderdome -- don't believe me? Then you try sitting through Ted V. Mikels, Andy Milligan and Don Dohler in one sitting and see if no one gets killed ... But seriously. Total gas as always, folks. Looking forward to doing it again already at B-Fest 2013. Until then, see and smell ya in the aisles, my friends...

Aw, Nutz...

No. No. B-Fest itself has not been canceled.

But! Due to an absolute train-wreck of unforeseen,
dire and completely understandable circumstances,
my annual trip to Chicago for 24-Hours of B-Movie
and butt-numbing insanity had to be scuttled.

Again: Nutz.


I are a sad, sad Panda, today.

*sigh*
